KPMG India | Analyst – Consulting Implementation |Freshers

KPMG India is hiring Analyst for its Consulting Implementation / SOC (Security Operations Center) practice. The role focuses on cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, and quality assurance within SOC operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyse & escalate SIEM alerts based on correlation rules
• Conduct email protection alerts & malware analysis
• Support proactive content fine-tuning & use case enablement
• Perform active threat hunting on network flow, user behaviour & threat intelligence
• Conduct phishing email analysis
• Raise and triage incidents, following Incident Response Playbooks
• Comprehend logs (HTTP, SMTP, Network) under guidance
• Perform quality assessment on SOC operations and track deviations
• Conduct RCA on observed errors/trends and recommend process improvements
• Support as QA touchpoint during critical cyber incidents

Eligibility:

• BE/B.Tech/Postgraduate/Graduate in any discipline
• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work rotational shifts

Preferred Skills:

• SIEM tools (Azure Sentinel, RSA/Splunk/LogRhythm), Python scripting, Windows AD
• Certifications: CSA, CISM, CCSP, Microsoft Azure
• Prior SOC experience and Microsoft security tools knowledge (Defender suite, Sentinel)
