Bank of India is recruiting Credit Officers under the General Banking Officer (GBO) stream to fill 779 vacancies across India. This is Project No. 2026-27/01, and the role covers credit-related banking functions at three seniority levels.
Selected candidates will be posted/transferred anywhere in India as per the Bank’s requirements.
Role highlights:
Officers will work in the Bank’s Specialised Segment/Stream as Credit Officers, handling credit appraisal, lending, and related banking operations.
Career progression follows the Bank’s extant Promotion Policy โ after serving in the specialised category, officers become eligible to participate in promotions to higher grades/scales alongside other General Banking Officers, subject to eligibility.
Candidates must be willing to work anywhere in India; this is a mandatory condition for applying.
Selected candidates are required to deposit a refundable security deposit (refundable after 3 years of satisfactory service): โน2,00,000 for MMGS-II, โน3,00,000 for MMGS-III, and โน3,00,000 for SMGS-IV.
Appointment is subject to candidates being declared medically fit and meeting the Bank’s service and conduct rules.
